We are a semi-pro football team based in the Northern Kentucky area...
The Kentucky Stallions are a not-for profit organization, licensed in the state of Kentucky. The team itself is run by a Board of Directors which are 100% volunteers. None of the staff or players associated with our organization are paid for their services in any shape or form. All moneys collected are reinvested into the Kentucky Stallions organization for the purpose's previously described in our mission statement, or donated to an approved charity.
The Stallions are the brain child of semi pro veteran and founder, Homer Reeves.

Assistant Coach Homer Reeves - Founder
Homer is a longtime veteran of the semi-pro ranks, as both a player, coach, and owner. A product of Ludlow High School and member of the Cincinnati Semi-Pro Football Hall of Fame, Homer will be an assistant coach with the Stallions for the 2009 season, and use his expertise to help the line and defensive units.
Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator- Mike Metzger
A graduate of Covington Catholic High School, Mike started his semi-pro football career in 1991, and was inducted into the Cincinnati Semi-Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005. As a player, he was with such teams as the Silver Coach Cowboys, Northern Ky Raiders, and Kentucky Stallions, where he held offensive coordinator and head coaching duties until 2002. Shortly thereafter the team merged with another franchise and retired the Stallion name, but when Homer decided to bring back the team at the end of 2008 Mike answered the call and the rest is history..
Assistant Coach - Defensive Coordinator, Mark Scott
Mark is a product of Dixie Heights High School, and later went on to play four years at the University of Kentucky. He will be working with the Defensive unit of the Stallions this season.
Assistant Coach Jim Butler - O-Line
Jim is another veteran of the semi-pro game, who started out at Butler High School in Louisville, before going on to play for Morehead State University. Upon graduation he coached O line at the high school level for a few years before the lure of the game brought him back to the gridiron. Now retired, Jim will also bring his particular skill set to bear while working with the Offensive lineman.
Assistant Coach Don Baker - Running backs
Don played HS ball at Boone Co. HS with ex-Cov. Cath. head coach Lynn Ray, where he started at the TB position. He will be working primarily with special teams and the offense unit during the 2010 season, where he will focus on improving the Stallions potent running attack.
Assistant Coach Craig Sandman - Wide Recievers
Craig is a student of the game with an unbridled passion for his craft, and will be helping out with the offense during the 2010 season. A master statistician, he will exercise his abilities to help the coaching staff break down our oppositions weakness's.
